Lawyer Dr. Torsten Stefaniak studied law in Frankfurt/Main. He has been admitted to the bar since 2009 and since then has been working in banking and capital market law as well as in forwarding and transport law.
The specialist lawyer for banking and capital market law advises and represents savings banks, banks and investment brokers throughout Germany, in particular in the areas of capital market law, investment advice law and credit and loan security law. For freight forwarders and logistics companies, he drafts contractual terms and conditions and advises on claims settlement issues.
Dr. Stefaniak completed his doctoral studies at the University of Cologne with Prof. Dr. Ulrich Ehricke. The doctoral thesis focused on the interplay between antitrust and regulatory requirements in the business sector. Against this background, he also focuses on antitrust law in connection with banking and transport law issues.
Dr. Stefaniak is a member of the Banking and Capital Markets Law Working Group, the German Transport Law Association and the Antitrust Law Study Association.
