Dr. Jörg Laber studied law at the University of Cologne. After being admitted to the bar in 1992, he initially worked for a Cologne employment law boutique, including nearly two years in its Leipzig office. He has been a lawyer with CBH since 1996.
His main focus is on the ongoing employment law support of company personnel work as well as nationwide advice and support for employers in all questions of collective and individual employment law. A special feature is its focus on employers of the "public service" and the solution to the particular problems that arise for them, above all those relating to personnel representation law.
Dr. Jörg Laber has been a specialist lawyer for employment law since 1995 and is a member of the German Labour Court Association and the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA).
He is co-editor of the "Handbuch Kündigungsrecht", co-author of the standard commentary by Sachs on the GG, co-editor of the commentary on the LPVG NRW Laber/Pagenkopf, author of numerous specialist articles as well as the "Zeitschrift für das öffentlichen Arbeits- und Tarifrecht (öAT)", co-author of the book "Arbeitsrecht im öffentlichen Dienst" and member of the permanent team of authors of the specialist journal "Der Arbeitszeitschrift".
Dr. Jörg Laber is Managing Partner of CBH together with Dieter Korten and Andreas Haupt.
He is a member of the board of our partner KEC "Die Haie" e. V. and since April 2016 he is deputy chairman of the board. Vice chairman of the Spielgericht (Game Tribunal) of the Ice Hockey Association of North Rhine-Westphalia
