Dr. Ingo Jung studied law and obtained his doctorate at the University of Göttingen.
With his admission to the bar in 1996, he also started working for CBH in Cologne. There he specializes in the fields of intellectual property, copyright and media law as well as the law of new media. His legal practice focuses in particular on intellectual property, competition, trademark, copyright and advertising law.
Dr. Ingo Jung is a specialist lawyer for industrial property rights, author of a large number of scholarly articles and lecturer in various specialist law courses. He is the initiator and co-founder of the "Cologne Symposium on Trademark and Competition Law" as well as the "Cologne Days on Copyright and Media Law" as an important specialist event in this field.
Dr. Ingo Jung is the spokesman of the Committee on Intellectual Property in the CLA. He is also a lecturer at the Research Centre for Media Law at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences and a lecturer at the University of Münster.
The JUVE Handbook continuously identifies Dr. Ingo Jung as a frequently recommended lawyer in the field of trademark and unfair competition law at CBH (JUVE Handbook 2014/2015:"highly specialised in trademark law", "collegial but tough on the substance", competitor). Dr. Ingo Jung has also been awarded the JUVE Handbook 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 nationwide as a rising star in competition law. LEGAL 500 Germany also recommends Dr. Ingo Jung in trademark and unfair competition law.
