Dr. Marie Teworte-Vey completed her studies in Cologne with a post in Tokyo. From 2003 to 2006 she worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Intellectual Property and Copyright Law at the University of Cologne.
During her legal clerkship in Cologne with stations in New York and at a supra-local law firm in Hamburg, Dr. Marie Teworte-Vey further deepened her specialization in the field of intellectual property.
Dr. Marie Teworte-Vey has been admitted to the bar since 2007. Her practice focuses on trademark and unfair competition law as well as design patent and copyright law. Here, she advises and represents companies both in litigation and trademark registration proceedings. She also prepares delimitation agreements and reviews advertising measures.
Her work also focuses on press law, in particular on disputes relating to public relations.
Dr. Marie Teworte-Vey has contributed to various publications in the field of intellectual property and is a member of the German Association for Intellectual Property and Copyright Law. (GRUR).
