Martin Krings studied law at the University of Cologne. He completed his legal clerkship at an international law firm in the field of intellectual property law and at an international e-commerce provider in Berlin. Before studying law, he studied history, philosophy and physics in Cologne, where he wrote his thesis on a legal philosophy topic.
Martin Krings has been a member of the Intellectual Property + Media Practice Group since July 2017 and advises on questions of IT law and intellectual property law. One focus is data protection law advice, in particular on the European Data Protection Basic Regulation. Before joining CBH, Martin Krings worked for an international telecommunications company as legal counsel in Bonn.
In addition to his legal work, Martin Krings regularly writes articles for specialist journals and gives lectures.
