Sybille Malchow studied law at the Universities of Hamburg and Heidelberg. She completed her legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Berlin with stations at the EU Commission in Brussels and at a large US law firm in New York.
She has been admitted to the bar since 1990 and worked for renowned law firms in Berlin and Hamburg since 1992. During this time, her legal core areas of expertise were insolvency law and corporate law.
Since 2007, she has been working mainly in the field of industrial property protection and is primarily involved in the processing of border seizure proceedings of customs authorities under trademark law.
